The Desana are an indigenous ethnic group native to the Amazon rainforest. The Desana are skilled craftsmen, especially in the making of braided baskets; their creativity is reflected in the accessories they use as part of their clothing, among them headdresses with different coloured feathers that take advantage of the diversity offered by the native fauna.
