S J Forbes New Interior in Egham

Wednesday, 11 May 2016 14:08

S J Forbes has unveiled its stunning interior design. Housed in the heart of the historic town of Egham, home to the iconic Windsor Castle, the salon brings a touch of elegance to the traditional cobbled streets of the area.

Designed by Directors, Hayley Gibson-Forbes and Sean James McElhill, the salon has a contemporary, minimalist theme, while creating a welcoming and friendly ambience in keeping with the brand’s ethos: that every visit should be experiential for its discerning clientele. The Directors designed the space with the client in mind, ensuring comfort at each stage of the hairdressing journey.

The style at S J Forbes is inspired by the late fashion designer, Alexander McQueen, and is simple with clean lines and neutral shades, inviting to all. A standout design feature is the exquisite crystal chandelier above the reception desk, which produces a dazzling spectrum of rainbow coloured lights around the salon as each droplet reflects the sunlight, resulting in an enticing focal point for passers trade too.

The reception desk, directly beneath the chandelier, consists of three white gloss rectangles offset against one another for a striking statement when clients walk in. The mismatched lines, along with concealed under-shelf lighting form a stunning style statement within the salon.

Adding to the contemporary interior style, the salon boasts twelve workstations, featuring UV-lit mirrors, resting upon slabs of marvelous mocha-coloured marble, elevated stylishly from the floor by thick sheets of glass.

Say Directors Hayley and Sean: “What we offer is unique to the local area, and we have become a firm fixture for the many clients we have welcomed to the salon over the last ten months. Our interior style reflects our salon personality and ethos and offers our clients a haven of tranquillity and luxury, away from the stresses of the outside world. We look forward to welcoming old and new clients to the salon in the future.”
