Friday, 14 October 2016 10:39

This new custom-built space  close to Trafalgar Square marks a new chapter for Wella,  demonstrating  the brand's on-going commitment to being at the forefront of education for  the professional hairdresser.

The opening also coincides with the exciting acquisition of Wella by Coty, making the celebration even more significant.  Earlier this week, Studio Operations Manager Judith Holmes hosted more than 100 VIP guests and press, who were given a tour around the new state of the art premises which has been completely designed around the needs of Wella hairdressers. “The space includes a state-of-the-art theatre, studio space, seminar zones, and of course plenty of space to brainstorm and recover from a hard day of learning," Judith explained. “Expect engaging displays, interactive screens and a practical yet comfortable learning environment!”

Andrew Kelsall, General Manager Coty Professional Beauty, UK & Ireland was joined by Michelle Mason, Senior Vice President of Global Education, to officially open the studio and cut the ribbon. “It is lovely to be with the Wella family. Families come together to celebrate milestones, and this is a major milestone that has taken more than two years to come together. It is an amazing achievement and a pleasure to be here with you all,” said Michelle.  Andrew added: “This is not just a wonderful building. To me it is so much more. This new World Studio is showing the commitment that Wella is making to education and to be the best hairdressing partner in the industry.”

The 9,500 sq/ft academy will host a plethora of events and course throughout the year and is now officially open for bookings.
