Unity in Hair & Art

Friday, 27 March 2015 12:35

Noguera Hair & Art Salon in Barcelona offers a journey of cultural discovery : it's an astonishing salon that doubles as an art gallery, combining a space for discerning female clients her with a barbershop.

There’s a place in Barcelona where the confines of hairdressing and art merge into one. This is Noguera Hair & Art Salon, owned by Juanma Noguera Moreno, a hairstylist and painter who hired the Cm2 Disseny architects to renovate the two-floor salon.

The ground floor is dedicated to women’s hairdressing and relaxation, whilst the top floor is a barbershop complete with beauty booths. The salon concept is an art gallery – complete with minimalist furnishing, neutral colour combinations, and an airy workspace where modern pieces are merged with natural materials or vintage details. Creative design genius!
