Jack’s Balayage Bootcamp

Tuesday, 07 February 2017 15:09

Leading Balayage educator Jack Howard has taught thousands of colourists the art of hand painting, and from 2017 salons can host his new pop-up Balayage Bootcamp - the ideal way to learn!

How does it work?

Anyone can host a Jack Howard Balayage Bootcamp at a salon, just get together 6-14 people! The course is for a minimum of 6 people; if the host fills 12 places they get a place free. It isn’t limited to one salon, any qualified stylist can come on the course, so they can team up with other local salons, freelancers, whoever they’d like to share the pop-up and spread the costs with.

£300 per person plus VAT (includes doll head, cling film, L’Oreal Professionnel Platinium lightening product and Balayage board). Salon should provide 1 live model for Jack to work on in the morning.

Course Structure

Widely recognised as one of the most accomplished authorities on Balayage, Jack’s philosophy is to offer the client beautiful hair that doesn’t compromise on condition. Jack shows salons how to actually increase their colour revenue and customer loyalty through giving the client a quicker service and lower maintenance repeat visits.

The day starts with Jack dispelling the myths and fears around freehand work and by the end of the day, participants will be confident to perfect the classic Balayage application from root to tip. This class allows delegates to then take what they’ve learnt and immediately they’ll be able to make more money by offering another colour service. Jack presents a live model demo in the morning and delegates will enjoy close tutelage as they work on doll heads in the afternoon. The class also includes a presentation from Jack on the importance of social media and how to promote the new skills learnt to maximize exposure to new and existing clients.
