Focus on Education at Anthony's Studio in Battersea

Thursday, 05 April 2018 14:09

Earlier this week, Anthony Mascolo invited specially selected  guests to his personal studio to share news and updates on TIGI Education and to preview the new TIGI education collection: Retrospective.

The event was held at Anthony Mascolo’s private studio, The Library Space, in Battersea, South London.  The Library Space is part-working studio, part gallery and part collective of Anthony’s work. It’s a very special environment and proved to be the perfect location in which to  present members of the TIGI Creative Team, who shared information on TIGI brands, TIGI education and the new TIGI educational and image collection: Retrospective.

Inspired by the Team’s work over the last 12 years, the new collection references earlier cuts and colours with a ‘re-think’ to make the looks relevant for today’s clients.  Anthony explained the link between cut and colour has always been important in creating a total look, but now, more than ever the two create a strong and personal image. Before passing over to his Team, Anthony showed a film of the incredible amount of work achieved over the last decade.

TIGI Global Technical Creative Director, and owner of STIL salon in London, Christel Lundqvist, together with TIGI Global Academy Technical Director, Warren Boodaghians, then presented the TIGI Copyrightcolour brand to the audience and explained the educational support given to TIGI colour salons from both the TIGI Academy and TIGI Regional Educators. Akos Bodi, TIGI European Creative Director, then introduced each member of the TIGI Creative Team who presented the TIGI Courses they lead.  To finish the evening 6 models were presented giving a taste of the new collection to give an insight into the latest cut, styling and colour techniques.
