Wella Professionals Announces Generation Now Team 2018/19

Wella Professionals is delighted to announce the names of the five up-and-coming hairdressers who have been chosen to create the new Generation NOW team for 2018/19.

Launched by the brand eight years ago, Generation NOW discovers rising stars of the future who are  hungry to make their mark in the world of hairdressing. The 18-month programme provides a unique platform for inspirational, up and coming talent, offering a spectacular launch pad to those involved to become a key player in the competitive hairdressing industry. The 2018/19 tem will consist of: Roisin Hynes, Sarah Mason; Rita Tuska, Joseph Ferraro; Richard Potts, Rage; Elizabeth Williams, KH Hair; Natasha Cameron, McIntyres. 

This fabulous five will experience the chance to work with and be inspired by numerous iconic hairdressers over the next year. Their year commences with an intensive Boot-camp week where the team will be mentored by a number of top hairdressing icons. They will also receive media training, product knowledge and presentation skills training. 

The team will be involved with a busy schedule of exciting events and activities organised by Wella Professionals, to help them gain an invaluable insight into what it takes to work at the top echelons of the industry. The newly crowned team will go on to work at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final, as well as featuring on-stage at Salon International. 

Set to become the benchmark for up and coming, inspirational talent, each member of the Wella Professionals’ Generation NOW team can look forward to developing and honing their skills to make them one of the UK and Ireland’s most in-demand professional hair stylists and colourists in years to come.
