The F.A.M.E. Team remains the pinnacle of achievement for Fellowship members, with an exhaustive list of former teammates who have gone on to transform the British hairdressing landscape.

This year’s team have an exciting year ahead of them, filled with education, experiences and exposure, with a year-long calendar of events ahead of them. We caught up with the new team to find out more about their goals, experience of applying and what the F.A.M.E. Team means to them.

Jose Domene, Hare and Bone

How does it feel to be on the F.A.M.E. Team?

It’s an incredible feeling; a dream come true to be honest. I think the most amazing thing is to realise that from now on, we will be part of this legacy. I have always looked up to people who were in the F.A.M.E. Team and to know that I'm one of them is crazy.

Tell me about your application process.

This was my second attempt. The first time I didn't make it to the final, but I got some great feedback and that really gave me the insight to come back stronger and more prepared. The process is very full on, but at the same it’s very exciting. I had amazing support from my boss Sam and great mentoring by Jamie – they both let me be ‘me’ but give me the tools and the push to make my looks more elevated.

What are you most excited about for the year?

The mentoring days, the shoots and, all of the knowledge we’re going to gain.

What’s the one thing you want to achieve this year?

I want to really master my signature style. I have an idea of where I'm going but I don't think I've got it just yet.
