Friday, 15 January 2016 16:27

ghd has appointed Dafydd Rhys Thomas as brand new Global Education Manager. Dafydd will be supporting all global education teams with any training needs as well as working with ghd on launches and events throughout the year.

26 year old Dafydd has an impressive profile within the industry, with British Hairdressing Awards accolades under his belt, a member of the 2014 Felloship F.A.M.E Team and experience styling for an impressive range of glossy consumer magazines and working backstage at over 12 international fashion weeks for fashion houses such as Vivienne Westwood, Ashish and Erdem. He is no stranger to ghd, having previously been a part of their Art Team in 2014 where he supported business initiatives and trade shows both in the UK and internationally.

“This is an extremely exciting opportunity for me,” says Dafydd, “I can’t wait to start traveling and getting to know all of the teams we have as a part of global ghd! I hope I can offer my range of industry experience to help with events, launches and press coverage that we have coming up this year.”
