Wella Professionals Announces the UK & Ireland Winners of TrendVision Award 2016

The Roundhouse in Camden provided the spectacular setting for the annual UK & Ireland Final of the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2016. Hosted by TV star Claudia Winkleman the event was a celebration of some highly impressive hairdressing talent. 

 

More than 800 guests gathered last Monday at Camden's famous Roundhouse for an evening of pure entertainment, creativity and hair fashion, culminating with the unveiling of the TrendVision Award 2016 UK & Ireland Winners. The evening also featured no fewer than 3 spectacularly creative stage shows: Vanity, from the D&J Ambrose Team - the collection fused colour, fashion and haute couture styling from the most iconic eras in hair creativity;  Technologic, from the HOB Academy Team – a show which demonstrated an inspiring combination of future fashion and opulent elegance The final captivating show came from the Sebastian Professional Team, delivering strong styling with an exaggerated finish, influenced from previous iconic Sebastian Styling collections with a futuristic twist. 

This year’s final saw 25 of the UK and Ireland’s most talented stylists, plus 25 of the UK and Ireland’s most talented colourists battle it out to take home the Gold Award, which for many, started at the brand new Wella Professionals World Studio in London, earlier in the day. 

Competitors set to work creating a total look for an esteemed panel of judges before the glittering evening event that featured cocktails, a delicious 3-course dinner and three incredible hair shows from the UK’s hottest hairdressing names.

 

THE UK WINNERS:

COLOR VISION:

GOLD – Hayley Austin, TONI&GUY Covent Garden

SILVER – Elizabeth Austin, Francesco Group

BRONZE – Sunny Wan, Regis

 

CREATIVE VISION:

GOLD – Rudi Rizzo, Sanrizz

SILVER – James Earnshaw, Francesco Group

BRONZE – Amy Sultan, Francesco Group

 

THE IRELAND WINNERS: 

COLOR VISION:

GOLD -  Darren Lacken, Crow Street Collective

SILVER – Alex Reid, Keville for Hair

BRONZE – Sinead Berrigan, House of Colour

 

CREATIVE VISION: 

GOLD – Ciara Brady, Yourells

SILVER – Shauna Forman, House of Colour

BRONZE – Nadine Walshe, House of Colour 

  

People’s Choice Color Vision Award Winner: 

Darren Lacken, Crow Street Collective

 

People’s Choice Creative Vision Award Winner: 

Ciara Brady, Yourells

  

Hayley Austin from TONI&GUY Covent Garden, and Rudi Rizzo from Sanrizz will now represent the UK. They will be joined by Darren Lacken from Crow Street Collective and Ciara Brady from Yourells who will represent Ireland, at the International TrendVision Award 2016 in Barcelona on 5th and 6th November – an event which promises to be a truly sensational global gathering.
