Salon Director Kai Wan says of the local event: “We’ve been entering this race for 4 years. This year’s theme was movies so the team went as the cast of Toy Story which was incredibly fun. This year was a record turnout with around 15,000 people turning out to watch in the Market Deeping are and over 30 rafts racing whilst raising money for charity. As well as raising money for worthwhile causes, it’s a great opportunity for us to connect with local businesses as well as being a really fun team building exercise.”

This is the 2nd charity event Kai has taken on in the last few months. Just before the raft race, Kai took part in Prudential’s’ Ride London, which saw him take on a mammoth 100 mile ride across London.
