Special Celebrations at Spargo Hairdressing

Thursday, 24 November 2016 12:11

Staff at Spargo Hairdressing in Brentwood recently celebrated  the official opening of its new Training Academy at a special evening with friends, clients and personal guests, which included their annual staff training awards ceremony, celebrating the members of their team who have excelled over the year.

Staff training and education is so important to the way Spargo Hairdressing works and their staff training programme is solely focused on the individual and helping them to get the best of themselves and their career. To improve staff training even further, Spargo have now officially opened their Academy in the premises behind the salon. Work began on this academy in the summer and salon owner Ian Marshall and his dedicated building team have been working tirelessly every day since, so the opening night will be the perfect chance for some recognition and a pat on the back! The academy will be multi-purpose; used as an education space for the Spargo team, a presentation area for businesses, as well as serving as a colour area for clients and the premises for the SpargoLand charity.

The annual staff training awards winners were:

Spargo Stylist of the Year- Hannah Mitchell

Fudge Colourists of the Year- Amelia Fry & Chris Plumb

Momentum Training Assistant of the Year- Alice Copping

Spargo Receptionist of the Year- Julie Day

Unite Retailer of the Year- Sabrina Knight

Sexy Hair Creative Award- Ellie Bond

Spargo Customer Care Award- Alice Copping

Spargo Achiever of the Year- Mike Burrow

At the end of what proved to be a very happy and enjoyable evening for all, Ian Marshall commented:  “I couldn’t have asked for a better night with the Spargo team and those close to us! The Academy looks fantastic and I can’t wait to see it in action, educating and inspiring the staff. I’m so proud of the salon and the year we’ve had!”
