Evangeline gets Creative with Colour

Wednesday, 21 December 2016 10:30

While many of the industry were at The Dorchester for our annual Luncheon & Awards, Evangeline was at the brand new Wella Studios at The Strand on Monday 5th December.

As Step Up & Shine winner Evangeline’s education is tailored to her and her needs with this course being a chance for her to develop her existing colour skills. The day saw Evangeline take away new creative techniques that allow her to advance her own knowledge, including consultation analysis and colour placement.

Alongside the theoretical aspect of the day Evangeline also took part in an interactive workshop where she developed the formulas for the most in demand colours with strand testing, following with a model exploring creative placement.

Evangeline Barrett, from BLONDZ Hair, said “I love every aspect of hairdressing and I was excited to be able to attend a colouring course as I have not attended one as part of my Scholarship as yet. The course really gave me an insight into lots of different areas of creative colouring, while also really developing what I already know about colour consultation. Thank you to everyone for the opportunity and it was amazing to attend this course in the brand new Wella Studios, which are incredible!”

Applications are now open to apply for Step Up & Shine. This really is a once in a lifetime experience with tailored education to suit your needs and you can find out more on
