The 2017 L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards are now open for entries. Whether you are a young colourist just starting out, or have many years of experience, this is the competition for you - and it's open to all UK hair salons.

The simple way to to enter the 2017 L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards is on-line via the dedicated website: CLICK HERE and you will find the full entry dossier and the seven simple steps you need to enter. Salons have 56 days to submit their photographic entries by Tuesday 28th February.

There are four categories you can enter: The L’Oréal Colour Trophy, L’Oréal Men’s Image Award, L’Oréal Colour Trophy Afro Award sponsored by Mizani and the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Star Award. Check out all the entry guidelines on the website to see which category is for you. Your salon may enter multiple categories of course, but just remember that you will need live models for each of the categories if you get through to the semi-final stage.

Once the photographic entries have all been submitted they will be judged by a panel of the hairdressing industry’s most iconic names in hairdressing. The successful salons in each category will be announced on line on the 8th March 2017 and will then go head to head at one of the nine Backstage Live semi-final events to be held across the UK and Ireland from the 9th – 20th April. The nine regions competing are London, Eastern, Midlands, North Eastern, North Western, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Western and Southern.

On Monday 5th June, 2017 the successful salons from each of the regional Backstage Live Semi Finals will go head to head at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final at Battersea Evolution.
