The journey starts for Project X 2017!

Thursday, 02 February 2017 13:21

The journey has started for the new Project X Team as they made their way to London for their first day. Joining them on Monday 23rd January was Project Leader Kai Wan and the industry professional Tracey Devine-Smith.

The day started with an introduction from Tracey into her own career and her passion was infectious leaving everyone feeling incredibly inspired and ready for the year ahead!

It was then a chance to hear from Kai about what 2017 is set to bring and what The Project X Team can expect from their mentors, before it was time to present their own mood boards. Each mood board reflected them and their brand which provided an insight into who they were allowing everyone to get a better understanding of each other.
After lunch, Tracey demonstrated some incredible session work and she was able to convey techniques in prepping and dressing hair, with some top tips for backstage success! These skills were then put into practice by The Project X Team in an interactive workshop.

The day concluded with some advice on how to make the most out of their own social media and the importance of making sure they make the most out of these platforms.

Tracey Devine Smith said “I was impressed with such the high standard of all The Project X Team. It fantastic to see how this incredible programme has progressed over the years and has now become a very sought after academy of excellence. I think the team have an unforgettable year!
