The conversation around The Cover Story - 50 Years on the Cover provided a springboard for an engaging debate on the links between the story of hair fashion fragrance and lifestyle and their irrefutable link to the evolution of fashion styling and femininity. This was also enhanced by the experience and passion for perfumery held by Nicoletta Polla-Mattiot, author of the book Essence of Style: Paths of Fashion and Perfume from Coco to Madonna, who enriched the evening with sparkling behind-the-scenes anecdotes from throughout the 20th Century, including Chanel no. 5, Shalimar, Giorgio Beverly Hills and Madame Rochas.
