Fellowship Presentation Skills Workshop

Tuesday, 15 August 2017 14:04

Places on the Fellowship’s Presentation Skills workshops are always highly sought after – and for good reason! Being comfortable with presenting on stage can open doors to a whole other world of hairdressing experiences.

Educating, presenting hair on stage around the world, hosting hair events and even managing a team of people are just a few of the many hairdressing experiences that can benefit from having excellent presentation skills. The confidence to speak comfortably and clearly in front of a crowd can be much more valuable that you might first think.

Hosted by Alan d Academy’s Edward Hemmings, The Fellowship Presentation Skills Workshop will teach you how to transfer previous fear into new found confidence. Edward is an expert at guiding presentation novices and turning them into show-stoppers, with all the best tips and techniques for improving confidence. He will take the group through both the practical and theoretical aspects of the art of presentation, with the delegates putting what they have learnt to into practice at the end of the day. “Presenting can be a scary prospect for so many hairdressers,” says Edward. “It can feel unnatural and unnerving but it’s an essential skill for someone wanting to progress in the industry and make a name for themselves. That’s why the Fellowship’s Presentation Skills workshops are so important and valuable for our members.”

The Fellowship’s next Presentation Skills workshop will take place on October 2nd 2017 at the L’Oréal Academy in London. The workshop begins at 10am with a 5pm finish and places cost £95 per person.
