The Roundhouse in Camden recently formed the backdrop for this year's for the annual TrendVison Award 2017 UK & Ireland Final. Hosted by Lauren Laverne and Patrick Cameron the event showcased some of the UK and Ireland’s most impressive hairdressing talent.

More than 700 of the hairdressing industry’s finest were treated to three spectacular shows, providing entertainment of the very highest calibre imaginable, thanks to the TONI&GUY Art Team which presented Prismatic, an eclectic interpretation where Hair meets Fashion – a kaleidoscope of Colour and Couture. This was followed up by Equal from Sassoon Academy, which demonstrated a series of iconic imagery that explored the relationship between Sassoon Hair and the world of art. Each person was expressed as a total individual and together, with the art based context became a bespoke work of art to wow the audience. The final captivating show came from Sebastian Professional, delivering E-Vokative. A brand rooted in its past, but always reaching forward, Sebastian Professional presented four decades of creative inspiration.

To reach the UK & Ireland Final, entrants first entered a photographic competition, before competing against hundreds of hairdressers at the Regional & Ireland Heats. This year’s final saw 25 of the UK and Ireland’s most talented stylists, plus 25 of the UK and Ireland’s most talented colourists battle it out to take home the Gold Award in the TrendVision international categories – Creative Vision and Color Vision - and then go on to compete at the international final in London on 14th October 2017.
