F.A.M.E. Team finals

Wednesday, 25 October 2017 13:56

At Salon International 2017, the following eight hopeful F.A.M.E. Team finalists took to the Fellowship stage to compete for a place on one of the industry’s most prestigious hair teams…

- Ellie Bond (Spargo Hairdressing)
- Nicola Clifford (NJUK Hair & Beauty)
- Ashley Cockrell (Percy & Reed)
- Patrick McDougall (Rainbow Room International)
- Peter Mellon (Medusa Hair)
- Jessica Neil (KH Hair Group)
- James Nicklin (Tim Scott-Wright at the Hair Surgery)
- Katie Prescott (Toni&Guy)

Judging the work during the finals were former team members Luke Benson and Ashleigh Hodges; current and 2018 F.A.M.E. mentor Nick Irwin; the Fellowship’s President Karine Jackson; Vice President Andreas Stavrou; Ambassador Errol Douglas MBE; Vice Chancellor Michelle Griffin; education expert Simon Shaw and last but very much not least having come all the way from Australia, the inspirational Jayne Wild.

The first stage for these talented stars was the Long Hair Competition, where all 8 finalists take to the stage together with 20 minutes to each create the ultimate long hair style on a model whilst the illustrious judging panel inspected and assessed.

Next came the second-round; individual presentations. Each finalist’s model took to the catwalk sporting the final look, before being joined by the stylist who explained the concept, inspiration and made their case for why they deserve a place on next year’s team. With masses of energy, enthusiasm and passion, it wasn’t difficult to see why these individuals had made it to this stage. But who will be the lucky final four? We’ll find out at this year’s Fellowship Luncheon on December 4th 2017.
