Presenter’s Course

Monday, 09 April 2018 14:41

2018’s first Fellowship Presenter’s Course is coming up, on April 23rd at the ghd Academy in London. Places on this course are, as ever, highly sought after – and with good reason, as presenting skills are essential for many hairdressers wanting to reach the next level.

Whether that’s being comfortable with presenting hair work on a stage, or educating the salon team, hosting hair events or even just addressing clients; the confidence to speak comfortably and clearly in front of a crowd can be much more valuable in the hair industry that you might first think.

This course is hosted by Alan d Academy’s Edward Hemmings, who is no stranger to public speaking. He is a very familiar face, having hosted many events for the Fellowship in the past, including compering the Fellowship stage at events such as Salon International and HJ Live. He is the perfect role model and inspiration to take you from zero to hero in the world of presenting. Edward will spend the day providing the best tips and techniques for improving confidence, whilst taking the group through both the practical and theoretical aspects of the art presentation. All delegates will have the chance to put what they have learnt into practice at the end of the session, with Edward on hand to deliver feedback and praise.

Presenting can be a scary prospect for so many hairdressers,” says Edward, “It can feel unnatural and unnerving but it’s an essential skill for someone wanting to progress in the industry and make a name for themselves. That’s why the Fellowship’s Presentation Skills workshops are so important and valuable for our members.”

The workshop begins at 10am with a 5pm finish and places cost £95 per person.
