Inspiration & Celebrations from Kao Salon Division Ireland & Trinity Salon Partners

Thursday, 28 February 2019 12:31

Kao Salon Division Ireland recently joined forces with Trinity Salon Partners to host the much-anticipated launch of Kao Salon Division into Ireland.

The event took place in the historical Mansion House Round Room, residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin and saw 200 Irish hairdressers and salon owners enjoy an evening of networking, inspiration and stage appearances from Sam Burnett, KMS Global Ambassador and the Black Amber Creative Team - the first official Irish salon group to join the Kao Salon Division portfolio last year.

The event opened with Cory Couts, Kao Salon Division Global President, Mark Giannandrea, Kao Salon Division EMEA Commercial Vice President and John Moroney, Kao Salon Division Global Vice President & Creative Director all took to the stage to introduce guests to the Kao culture and vision. Guests were educated on Kao Salon Division’s professional brands, the company’s creative direction, revolutionary new technologies in the Goldwell colour sector and the importance of the We Think Stylist philosophy being at the core of the business when it comes to supporting the hairdresser.

This insightful cultural overview of the division's philosophy was followed by a series of impressive model presentations displaying the best of cut, colour and styling. The Black Amber Creative Team’s catwalk presentation showcased beautiful colour work which could be easily taken back to the salon floor, along with some more creative looks with more intense, vivid shades which demonstrated the true power of Goldwell colour. KMS Global Ambassador Sam Burnett’s live model presentation focused on creating urban and raw street style and high style looks. Irene Meikle, Kao Salon Division UK Associate Director Education, then held a Q&A session, enabling participants to delve deeper into Sam’s career and the story behind his success.

Trinity Salon Partners, led by Terry McGovern, closed the stage show with an insight into their expert and in-depth knowledge of the Irish market and how this partnership with Kao Salon Division aims to change the face of Irish hairdressing.
