Hair & Vision Lineup Announced

Thursday, 28 February 2019 16:14

The lineup has been announced for the first Fellowship for British Hairdressing Hair & Vision event, which takes place in London on Monday 18 March.

Hair & Vision is the Fellowship’s up-close-and-personal inspiration event, with a host of hairdressing headliners taking to the stage in informal, intimate surroundings. As well as showcasing model looks, each of the presenters also shares their trend insights, technique details and the diverse inspirations behind their work.

The London event will be taking place at Proud Cabaret in London’s Smithfields; a 1920s Prohibition-era theme bar with vintage-inspired cocktails and retro cabaret-style seating. The glittering theatre stage and catwalk – which usually pay host to burlesque dancers and swing bands – will provide a suitably glamorous backdrop to the Fellowship artists and their models.

Special guests on the night are Cos Sakkas and Indira Schauwecker from TONI&GUY; two of the UK’s most celebrated and creative hairdressers. As a multiple winner of London Hairdresser of the Year, Cos is now in the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame and has been nominated for the ultimate accolade in the industry; British Hairdresser of the Year. A dynamic presence on stage and on set, Cos is also a regular backstage at London Fashion Week.

Indira is renowned for her avant-garde work, having scooped Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year on three separate occasions, as well as multiple other wins at awards including the AIPP. A true rising star for TONI&GUY, she’s also a keen educator and leads backstage teams at London Fashion Week.

Joining Cos and Indira on the bill is a who’s who of British hairdressing talent, as well as hosts Karine Jackson and Simon Tuckwell.
