Jack Robin Williams: new member of the Barber Project

Monday, 04 March 2019 10:16

A new member of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s Barber Project spent the weekend assisting Errol Douglas MBE at Pro Hair Live.

Jack Robin Williams was chosen to be a member of the Barber Project after a successful audition and application, but after missing the first day of the project due to work commitments, wasn’t sure if he would be able to continue.

However, Jack was determined to push his barbering skills and grow his profile, and has decided to use his holiday allowance to ensure he can participate in all upcoming team days.  He is also funding the project himself.

After making this decision, Jack reached out Fellowship Patron of Honour and Ambassador, Errol Douglas MBE, for his advice. Errol was

so impressed with Jack’s commitment that he invited him to attend Pro Hair Live in Manchester as his assistant for the weekend, providing him with the chance to help out on stage throughout the show. Jack was even invited to be interviewed on stage in the Fellowship’s Live Lounge, where he got to share his story and his plans for the future.

It was an awesome day,” says Jack. “I had the time of my life! I’d like to thank Errol, as well as Karine for interviewing me and making me feel so welcome in the Fellowship family. I love being part of the Fellowship and can’t wait to continue with the Barber Project!
