TrendVision Award 2019 UK Regional & Ireland Heat Finalists Announced

Tuesday, 09 April 2019 09:35

The Photographic judging has now taken place at the UK Regional & Ireland Heats for Wella Professionals' TrendVision Awards - one of the most iconic hair competitions in the hairdressing calendar.

The judging took place at the Wella World Studio London with a wide range of highly acclaimed hairdressing experts and icons who worked their way through the record number of entries. The prestigious panel included journalists from leading industry press and industry icons (see photo above).

For TrendVision 2019, there are two international categories:

Color Artist of the Year - where competitors are required to showcase a wearable beautiful colour focused look;

Creative Artist of the Year – where competitors are required to style an on-trend cut and finish or hair-up with an editorial feel.

In addition, there are two categories exclusive to the UK & Ireland: Male Grooming and Runway. The category winners from the UK & Ireland Final will receive a money-can’t-buy mentoring experience.

Photographic winners will now compete at the UK Regional & Ireland Heats, where they will be required to create their look live on their chosen model. The winners from that stage will then compete at the UK & Ireland Final on 30th September 2019 at The Roundhouse, Camden, London. The Regional and Ireland Heats will be taking place on the follow days:

Scotland & North Eastern Regional Heat: Monday 13th May 2019, GLASGOW, Hilton Glasgow

Northern Regional Heat: Tuesday 14th May 2019, MANCHESTER, Hilton Deansgate

Southern Regional Heat: Monday 20th May 2019, LONDON, Grand Connaught Rooms
