Bloggs Salons' Festive Cheer

Monday, 23 December 2019 10:25

Bloggs Salons of Bristol salons have been raising money for charity through a number of initiatives this month, with proceeds going to both local and national children's hospitals and charities.

On Friday December 13, the salons took part in ‘Christmas Jumper Day’. All of the staff donated a minimum of £2 to the charity, Save the Children, while clients were encouraged to get involved and donate to this fantastic cause. A raffle offers clients the chance to win prizes such as a blow dry or cut and blow dry treatment, and they can also purchase discontinued products at a discounted price with the proceeds all going to the charity.

Bloggs Salons’ second charity collection is also running throughout December. Bernie is the partner of Bloggs’ front of house team member Lauren, and he’s been doing the 401 ‘Advent Calendar Challenge’, running a mile for the 24 days of Christmas, starting with one mile on the 1st, leading up to a final 24 miles on the 24th of December. In total, he will be running 300 miles, with members of the hair team joining him along the way, to reach his target of £2,000. All proceeds will be going to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, and clients are able to take part in the salons’ raffles to win prizes, and to sponsor Bernie here on his unseasonal active fundraising venture!

The salons’ numerous accolades include Best in Region in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2019 Awards, Salon Of The Year 2 in the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2017, Winner of Bristol Salon of the Year; Bristol Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013; finalist for Bristol New Business of the Year and the British Hairdressing Business Awards Salon of the Year in 2015.
