This year, entrants had to interpret Goldwell’s FascilNature Collection, a trend inspired by nature at its most expressive and surreal, in which entrants had to submit their interpretation with a photographic look. The 15 finalists were selected by an expert judging panel (5 in each of 3 categories), with only one finalist in each category becoming a UK winner. The 15 finalists were invited to recreate their photographic entry by presenting a model live on stage, and explain the inspiration behind their looks in front of the judges.
Not only did it bring the finalists photographic entries to life, it was inspiring to see the skill and talent from each of the finalists, showing exactly why they deserved to be in the finals.
William Wilson (Head of Technical & Creative Direction for Goldwell) then interviewed Neil Barton, who is the Global Creative Colorist Winner 2010, and joined the International Color Zoom Creative Team 2011 as a result of his global win. Not to mention, they are the team who created the FasciNature Collection.
Then the big announcement from Nick Wood (UK President for Goldwell) announced the Color Zoom UK Winners 2010, as follows:

Her look was inspired by colours in a peacock’s tail.
New Talent Colorist Category:
Osman Yakubogullari @ SO Hairdressing (Maidstone, Kent)
Osman’s look was inspired by birds and the texture of feathers.
This October the three talented UK winners will be joining Goldwell to compete in the Color Zoom Global Challenge, and for the chance to become a member of the International Color Zoom Creative Team 2013.
With the winners are revealed the attention now turns to the Global Finals in October. Will you be joining Goldwell from 13th - 15th October to cheer for the UK team as they compete against the rest of the world?
