Business Success Comes Alive

L'Oréal Professionnel meeting in Cannes over 2300 participants from around the world for a Business Forum under the sign of artistic and business prowess.

This was a major initiative for the brand - it brought together delegates from no fewer than 57 countries for three intensive days of shows, technical seminars and discussions on the development of business. It was also 3 days dedicated to sharing and conviviality under the head of  "Reveal Your Inner Star."

Groundbreaking products and services with high added value and the potential to capture new audiences were combined with other initiatives such as social networking to assist hairdressers in arming themselves and their businesses in the quest to become true hair experts.

On opening this new Business Forum, An Verhulst-Santos, President  of L'Oréal Professionnel Products Division commented: "Ensuring that the services being offered to an increasingly demanding customer base are founded upon the innovative skills of the hairdresser as a core value that the brand L'Oréal Professionnel has been developing for over 100 years.

Anne-Laure Lecerf, Director of  International Marketing for L'Oréal Professionnel added: "2015 was born under the sign of 'Innovation' what with the launch of Pro-Fiber to over 1.3 billion consumers worldwide. Pro Fiber is the breakthrough innovation that women really have been waiting for.  After 15 years of research and 15 patents, Fiber Pro with Eva Green as its global muse offers the potential to capture and retain significant numbers of new salon clients. "

From Creativity to Business

The three days were interspersed with a variety of  international seminars including amongst others topics as varied as Colour -  Charles Worthington (GB) and Master Class Jason Backe (USA);  Cut -  Hidetoshi Saiga (Japan); Service - Susie Santiago (Australia) and New Design Trends and Salon Concepts - Tom Savigar - The Future Lab (UK) which were punctuated by beautiful artistic shows by hairdressers from around the world.

The audience experienced the concept of half angel, half demon by  Curletto Franco (Italy) with a show called "Purgatory"and the highly acclaimed work of  Philippe Laurent (France) with a provision It-Looks. There was also a moment of great emotion with the exclusive interview with Trevor Sorbie in recognition of his 50-year career and the presentation of his charitable campaign  "MyNewHair" for women who have lost their hair after illness - a  project very generously supported by L'Oréal Professionnel,  alongside its commitment to the launch of a preventive campaign against musculoskeletal disorders.
