London Fashion Week Men’s AW18: Backstage at Velsvoir

Tuesday, 09 January 2018 16:05

Backstage at London Fashion Week AW18 with the International TONI&GUY Session Team using the award-winning professional haircare range, label.m. Louis Maharaj and the team updates the classic topknot at the Velsvoir AW18 LFWM Show.

The Collection

The inspiration for Velsvoir’s AW18 collection derives from an intellectual perspective of escaping modern technology and drawing from the elements. With the rich heritage associated with landscapes and nature, the line embodies the spirit of sustainable design and the future of the modern man. Double-breasted suits form the framework of the collection and are seen in corduroy, fleece and wool in an earthy colour palette.

The Hair

Louis Maharaj and team create an updated version of the topknot in a ‘half up, half down style. Soft, flowing, natural textured hair is maintained as a representation of the unrestricted essence of nature, while the refined, groomed topknot addresses the intellectual theme of the collection.
