Paul Costelloe’s London Fashion Week AW18 Collection

Tuesday, 20 February 2018 11:33

Backstage at London Fashion Week AW18 International Artistic Director Cos Sakkas and the TONI&GUY Session Team using the award-winning professional haircare range label.m.

This season’s theme by legendary designer Paul Costelloe is subtle reflection on an Irish heritage of leaving homelands in search of new beginnings. Key highlight pieces feature plaid tweeds from County Donegal as well as tailoring from the English county of Yorkshire.

The Hair

Irish Society Lands on Ellis Island: A textured, loose ponytail is reflective of the women who made the long journey across the Atlantic hoping for a new life. With no hairdressers to speak of, these women were determined to arrive to the new land with an impeccable appearance. Today, this hairstyle is still a perfect option for the long-haul traveller.
