TONI&GUY Introduces 'The Colour Menu'

To help change the way both salon professionals and consumers see colour, Global Creative Director at TONI&GUY, Sasha Mascolo-Tarbuck, has worked with the brand's award-winning Artistic Team to design a visually stunning 24-page client-friendly Colour Menu.

The Colour Menu features eight trend-lead techniques, ranging from low commitment Balayage and Glossing through to a higher commitment Global Colour. It really helps to take the guesswork out of the most frequently asked question: how long will it take?; how much will it cost?; how much maintenance will it require? 

During their in-salon consultation. clients are taken through the menu. advising them on bespoke colour placement with hair length and colour history in mind.

  • 1. BALAYAGE - A freehand technique to the surface of the hair creating a multi-tonal effect.



  • 2. ROOT STRETCH/OMBRE - Graduation of colour from dark at the root area to light on the ends.



  • 3. LUMI/OMBRAGE/CONTOURING - A multi-tonal contouring technique which illuminates the hair line and frames the face.



  • 4. HIGHLIGHTS - Weaves of hair that can be in a variety of colours to brighten and enrich.



  • 5. TINT & HIGHLIGHTS - A global colour with added highlights for a soft, dimensional result.



  • 6. ULTIMATE BLONDE - Global colour technique.



  • 7. GLOBAL COLOUR RED - Full head tint or glossing.



  • 8. GLOBAL COLOUR BRUNETTE - Full head tint or glossing.
