7 Instagram Accounts You Really Shouldn't Miss!

Thursday, 25 July 2019 15:04

Well, there are actually 8 if you include @esteticamagazine with its 212k followers! Leaving that aside for one moment, here are 7 more which anyone interested in hair should be keeping their eye on...

Across the social media landscape, Instagram has become the most important reference point for creative professional industries such as hair  and make-up. It features a kaleidoscopic showcase that allows you to experience all types of content, from brand messaging  to the latest creations and hairstylists. It is a melting pot of inspiration that has become a valuable  tool for all those working in our industry. To illustrate the point. Estetica has selected just 7 of the many thousands of accounts from the hair world which we think it's well worth following:

One of the Hollywood celebrity hairdressers, he is a colour expert and a true experimenter. Followed by a large fan community, his creativity is contagious!

Based in the United States, this contributor collects and shares the most interesting hair looks in both colour and cut, selecting them from all over the world.

With two salons in London, a training academy, a product line of its own and a follow-up on Instagram of over 330 thousand followers, this salon is a source of great inspiration.

If Alexa Chung calls him a hair magician and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a regular customer at this salon, then George Northwood's IG account is certainly worth following!

The nostalgia of old-school men's grooming. A barbering concept with remarkable abilities, Schorem is definitely an interesting point of reference for the men's market.

Former editor of Hairdressers Journal International, Ruth Hunsley now heads up her own PR agency, RedMane Media. Her IG  account is growing fast and provides a refreshingly open-minded perspective on the world of hairdressing.

Finally, a hashtag that scoops up some  the most interesting and sought-after styles, illustrated by Fellowship President, Ken Picton @ Ken Picton Salon.
