New Per-fume Hair Mists by Aveda

Wednesday, 27 September 2017 15:17

The people at Aveda refer to aromas as “Pure-Fumes”, at it's more than just clever turn of phrase: it says something very important about the authenticity of the ingredients they use, which are all 99% naturally derived and originate from sustainable sources.

Aveda Pure-Fume Hair Mists bring to life the aromas from three different corners of the globe, including the blossoming gardens in Asia, the dynamic spirit of Brazil, and the exotic floral, incenses and spice attars of the Middle East, while delivering softness and shine to hair.

Mihana Pure-Fume Hair Mist

A lush, rich spicy floral Pure-Fume aroma with soft balsams and bright citrus inspired by the exotic gardens of Japan. Featuring Aveda’s own Pure-Fume Aroma with jasmine, certified organic mandarin, clove and other pure flower and plant essences. “Our inspiration for Mihana Pure-Fume Hair Mist came from the naturalness of the garden, and the beautiful landscape of Asia,” explains Aveda’s Head of Pure-Fum  Aroma, Guy Vincent who creates aromas in the Aveda Botanical Aroma Lab. “It’s a very sensual Pure-Fume.”

Marassona Pure-Fume Hair Mist

A vibrant, fresh, clean citrus aroma followed by seductive tropical white flowers and stimulating woody spices inspired by the tropical flowers of Brazil. Featuring Aveda’s own Pure-Fume Aroma with certified organic neroli, ylang ylang, vetiver and other pure flower and plant essences. “Marassona Pure-Fume Hair Mist embodies the dynamic spirit of Brazil, including the city’s famous carnival,” says Vincent. “Brazil has a long history of using spices, flowers, and herbs from the Amazon and because of the heat, we wanted to go with a clean, just-washed feeling.”

Alanara Pure-Fume Hair Mist

A rich, effusive aroma with exotic, luminous spices, moist-rosy florals and precious incense styled woods inspired by the ornate aromas of the Middle East. Featuring Aveda’s own Pure-Fume Aroma with sandalwood, certified organic rose, oud, olibanum and other pure flower and plant essences. “This one was inspired by Dubai,” adds Vincent. “Dubai is an opulent, sparkling city with lots of lights. But it began as a fishing village. We wanted to capture the juxtaposition between modern and traditional.”
