With their new Long Live the Queens campaign, ghd is heroing their Queenmakers – the salons and professional hairstylists that make their clients look and feel like queens on a daily basis. The essential tool for these regal makeover moments? The new ghd Platinum+ styler, which is now available for personalisation.

As part of ghd’s ongoing commitment to celebrating their Queenmakers, this service is only available to professional stylists and salons; making it a total exclusive and allowing ghd to give back to their partners in a unique and meaningful way.

The service can only be redeemed by placing an order with a ghd account manager or by calling the ghd salon support team; salons must be ghd stockists to unlock the service. Personalisation is available on the new, professional-use black Platinum+ stylers and can feature a mix of upper and lowercase letters, up to a limit of 18 characters. The cost for the service is £10/€10 per unit, creating a totally bespoke tool.

Jo Robertson, ghd’s global head of education, comments: “We wanted to give back to our professional audience, by providing them with something totally exclusive to them. The personalisation service is our way of saying thank you, and allows them to upgrade their kit to create something totally bespoke and unique. The trend for personalisation shows no sign of slowing down,” she continues. “Business of Fashion identified personalisation as the biggest trend for the next 12 months, with everything from Le Labo’s handwritten labels to Gucci offering personalised in-store embroidery on their trainers. We wanted to take on board that trend, then use it for something meaningful to support and reward our ghd Queenmakers.”
